Have a Prom Dress to Donate?
Hannah Schmidt is a Junior at North Attleboro High who is very excited for prom. As she was shopping for her gown, she thought about her classmates who may not be able to afford a dress, and decided to do something about it. She opened a dress shop at the school. The store is called Sparkle. Anyone is able to donate dresses, and students can make private appointments to pick out gowns for free.
With prom two months away, she’s collected 80 dresses in all different colors and sizes. Hannah says she gets emails every day from people wanting to donate, and it reminds her how there are still good people in the world.
If you have a dress to donate, dresses can be dropped off at North Attleboro High between 6:55am and 7:15am at the school resource officer’s office. Hannah can be reached for appointments at heschmidt@naschools.net
Good for you Hannah! So happy to see students helping other students.
