One of the Largest Sports Card Shows In The Region Is This Weekend
The Marriott Boston Quincy will be hosting one of the largest sports card exhibits in the region this weekend. On Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th, over 175 vendor tables will participate in the Northeast Sports Card Expo. The show will feature sports cards, Pokémon cards, and sports memorabilia.
Fans and collectible enthusiasts can purchase tickets in advance to reserve their attendance. Part of the appeal to this event is that Northeast Sports Card expo also offers onsite grading by The Grading Authority. Northeast Card Expo’s homepage details that “TGA” will grade cards for sports, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball, Marvel, Star Wars, UFC, and much more.
Another main attraction to the Northeast Card Sports Card Expo is that professional athletes will be on hand to sign autographs. This year various Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots alum (including Scott Zolak from 98.5 the SportsHub) will be there signing. In addition, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana is part of Sunday’s festivities as is Alisha Edwards from Women of Wrestling.
Day one of the card show will be hosted by Mike ‘Sarge’ Riley of 98.5 The Sports Hub and Public Address Announcer at Gillette Stadium.
Tickets are $10 in advance (and allow you to skip the line). Children under 12 enter the expo for free. The organization’s first expo was this past October. Representatives from all over the east coast attended. This weekend’s edition looks to be even bigger and better.
Whether you are a fan of local legends or have a passion for sports memorabilia, the Northeast Sports Card Expo in Quincy provides 22,000 square feet of collectable bliss.
