Drake Breaks His Sports Betting Curse, For Now
Oh Drake. We all know he LOVES to gamble. We all know he particularly loves to get on sports. And because of Drake’s sketchy past with sports betting, he’s kinda become the laughing stock. Many have called him a jinx and feel like they need to bet opposite of him to win. But why? we’ll take a look at some big bets he’s lost, but first let’s look at a bet he win over the weekend.
Drake shared a bet on his IG over the weekend where he took the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. He bet 210k on the Ravens to win which they did, 28-14. Drake’s payout, 630k.
Now, according to some websites, Drake still has an overall HORRIBLE sports betting record. Depending on where you look for your stats, Drake has around 17 all time wins and over 189 losses. You would think that would deter someone from ever sports betting again but not Drake. Let’s look at some of his biggest losses.
Remember that infamous Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight? Yup, Drake bet $355,000 that Tyson would beat Jake Paul and we all know how that turned out.
How about them Dallas Mavericks? Drake bet that they’d beat the Celtics in the NBA championship last year. Drake’s loss on that one? $500,000!
Oh and he also loves futbol. Drake lost A MILLION dollars betting that Argentina would beat France in NORMAL time in the World Cup. That didn’t happen.
