New wedding trend alert. Women are super-gluing their ears to their heads for perfect looking up dos. It all started when a woman in Brazil was insecure about her big ears with the hair style she wanted. So, her stylist came up with the idea. Let's get into it. You can view the IG video HERE.

The history of the trend

Apparently super-glue was used in Vietnam by medics to close wounds

Who is doing the new trend?

Brides are now using the new trend to temporarily super-glue their ears to their head

Who started it?

A hairstylist in Brazil just did it for a bride who wanted to wear her hair up in a bun.  And the Instagram video has racked up over 20 million views.

Why are brides doing it?

Brides who are insecure about their big ears are doing it. Especially when they are wearing their hair up.

How is it done?

They put a line of Super Glue behind each ear stuck them to the sides of her head and boom, problem solved.

How do people feel about it?

Some people think it's genius.  Others think it's dumb, and you should just love yourself the way you are.  That said, she's not the only one to do it.  A few women in the comments said they've done it too.

Are there any side effects or could there be a risk of injury?

If you get super glue on your skin, it shouldn't cause any lasting damage. The glue will dissolve on its own within a few days. You can speed up the process by rinsing the area with water or using nail polish remover.

Even the NY Post is hip to the trend

The Independent picked up the story too, "this is too crazy'
