Lorde Apologizes for Tasteless IG Post Mocking Whitney’s Death
Lorde learned the hard way yesterday…don’t mess with Whitney Houston! In what she thought was an innocent IG post about loving taking baths, she referenced a hit Whitney song which made people think it was done on purpose. The post was a picture of a bathtub with the caption “And iiii will always love you.” You’ll remember Whitney passed away and was found in a bathtub. People immediately ripped her on social media urging her to take it down, which she did. Lorde put up a post soon after saying “Extremely extremely poorly chosen quote. I’m so sorry for offending anyone — I hadn’t even put this together, I was just excited to take a bath. I’m an idiot. Love Whitney forever and ever. Sorry again.”
