Danny Amendola Says Tom Brady is the ‘Patriot Way,’ not Bill Belichick
It seems like Danny Amendola has chosen a side when it comes to the Tom Brady vs. Bill Belichick debate.
Tom Brady has led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl where they will play the Chiefs on Sunday. The Patriots finished third in the AFC East this year and now many people are arguing that he is more important to the New England Patriots’ dynasty than Bill Belichick. Danny Amendola, a wide receiver on the Patriots from 2013-2017, has spoken out and made it clear that he was on Brady’s side.
During an appearance on FS1’s “First Things First” on Monday, Amendola was asked if he thinks it will be hard for Belichick to get new players to buy in without Brady. “When you see the ‘Patriot Way’ in the dictionary, it’s got Tom Brady’s picture next to it,” said Amendola.
See what else he had to say here.
"When you see the 'Patriot Way' in the dictionary, it’s got Tom Brady’s picture next to it. None of those coaches caught any passes. … Tom Brady is the 'Patriot Way.' That’s why he’s in the Super Bowl & the Patriots aren’t." — @DannyAmendola pic.twitter.com/XtVd0ntJPc
