Pete Davidson Announces Tour With 6 New England Shows
The Pete Davidson tour this summer will find the comedian spending a full week in New England. Yesterday, Davidson announced an extensive “Prehab” standup comedy tour that begins April 13 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and runs through July.
You may recall that Davidson had to cancel a bunch of shows at the end of last year. Now, Davidson will hit the ground running with 44 North American shows that start next week. From Bowling Green, the route will go through the southern part of the states, then head out west to California.
A nice trek across the middle of the country will ultimately deliver Davidson to New England by mid-June. This may serve as perfect timing to enjoy all New England has to offer during the picturesque summer months.
Pete Davidson Tour Hits These five Stops In New England
There will be six shows spread over five nights, with an early show, late show double-header planned in New Hampshire. Here are the dates and information for our region.
- June 18 at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. Hyannis, MA
- June 19 at the Hanover Theatre. Worcester, MA
- June 21 at the Merrill Auditorium. Portland, ME
- June 22 at the Hampton Beach Ballroom, Hampton Beach, NH (early show)
- June 22 at the Hampton Beach Ballroom, Hampton Beach, NH (late show)
- June 23 at the College Street Music Hall. Hew Haven, CT
Davidson will be coming into Cape Cod from a June 15 show in Waukegan, IL. So, let’s give some friendly advice as to what a visitor can do with a free day in a great summer destination area like New England.
From Hyannis, why not jump on a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. Catch some waves, grab a fresh lobster roll and unwind on the beach a bit before cruising back into Hyannis.
The next break comes between Worcester and Portland. Hop on the bus after the Hanover Theatre set, and a short 150 miles north up Route 95 later and you will be in Portland. It’s arguably one of the most underrated cities in the country.
Davidson’s comedy series Bupkis was ultimately canceled after his departure from the show. The New York Post‘s Page Six reported that Davidson shelled out some serious cash as a gift to those who worked on the show, as a parting gift.
In addition, Consequence Media shared a quote from Davidson about Bupkis. “After nearly a decade of my personal life being in the media I wanted a chance to tell my story my way… I do also feel that this part of my life is finished. I’m very excited for this next chapter and for you guys to see the work.”
With one gig ending, another is about to begin. You can visit Ticketmaster for information and scoring tickets to see Davidson live this summer.
