Market Basket Adds “Senior Shopping Hours” Starting Tomorrow! (INFO)
Market Basket is the latest grocery chain adding “senior shopping hours” for customers who are considered “high risk” for contracting the coronavirus.
According to this tweet sent out by Market Basket today, “senior shopping hours” will start tomorrow for customers who are 60+ years old and continue on each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30am-7:00am.
Props to all of the stores, including Market Basket, who are trying to keep our elderly population, who are most susceptible to experiencing more serious consequences if infected with the coronavirus, safe.
Beginning tomorrow March 19, 2020, Market Basket will initiate senior shopping hours specifically geared to accommodate the needs of our customers who are 60+.
