Got A Sewing Machine? Here’s A Tutorial On How To Make Face Masks For Kids! (VIDEO)
If you’re having trouble finding face masks for your kids and know how to use a sewing machine, watch this tutorial from Amanda Perna, who you may have seen on “Project Runway,” on how to make them at home!
I don’t have kids or a sewing machine, but I think it would be fun to attempt to make some homemade masks. My aunt has made a few, including some for her grandchildren (she DOES own a sewing machine) but she’s still looking for the perfect pattern. Maybe I’ll send her this video!
Amanda Perna teamed up with “Good Housekeeping” to bring you some DIY mask tutorials.
If you don’t have a sewing machine or the patience to make these, she is selling face masks for kids in her online store, “The House of Perna,” here. As I type this, they’re on sale too! She has an entire collection of masks for adults as well with elastic or adjustable straps. Plus, you can donate a mask to someone in need. Just click “face masks” in the drop down menu of her website here.
Here are a couple of other Amanda Perna mask-making tutorial videos for regular sized-masks for you to check out.
