LL Cool J Restores “BAD” Audi And Donates It To The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame (PICS)
LL got the red ’87 Audi 5000 from his “BAD” album cover restored and donated it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
LL Cool J was just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Dr. Dre (finally) and gave the Rock Hall a gift, his famous red 1987 Audi 5000 from the “BAD” album cover.
According to TMZ, Unique Rides of NYC did the restoration which included, “new bodywork, a fresh paint job, installing a custom 2-tone black leather interior with red piping, a full stereo system with Blaupunkt cassette deck, amps and subs, red lighting, putting in OG BBS wheels and a full engine rebuild.”
Owner Will Castro,”Car Customizer to the Stars,” told TMZ that all of the work cost about $35,000. Check out Will’s pics of the transformation of LL’s restored Audi here.
Congratulations to LL Cool J! In my opinion, it’s about damn time he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
