Dorchester Elite Eagles Championship Parade Route Has Been Set
The Dorchester Elite Eagles have just made history and won the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando, Florida. This accomplishment is GIGANTIC as the Dorchester Elite Eagles are now the first team from Boston to ever win a Super Bowl. The game was played in Orlando on December 7th at 12:30pm. It was live streamed on the FloSports app. They went undefeated for the season and beat the Darby Monarchs from Pennsylvania in the championship game.
This is a special year for the Dorchester Elite Eagles. They have been to the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando before, but have never won. In fact, they’ve been to nationals 19 times! So apparently, 20 times is the charm for this group of gifted athletes. They are representing the newly formed Metropolitan Pop Warner football and cheer league led by Dameain Mims.
The Eagles will be having a championship parade in Boston this Saturday. Mayor Wu announced the parade route plans yesterday. Participants are asked to arrive at Tech Boston at 12pm on Saturday. The parade will start promptly at 2pm on Saturday, December 16th. The parade will leave Peacevale Rd. in Dorchester. It will take a right on Norfolk Street then a left on Talbot Avenue. It will end at the Boys & Girls Club. Let’s all show the youth some love and show up for these athletes and coaches this weekend.
