7 Most Memorable Grammy Moments From Sunday's Ceremony

• Jay Z shades The Grammys for not giving his wife Beyonce Album of the Year

  Jay Z was accepting his Dr. Dre Global Impact Award and in his speech, he threw some shade at the Grammys. He made it a point to mention how his wife Beyonce is the most decorated Grammy artist but that she’s never won Album of the Year. A move very reminiscent of when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech in 2009.

• Tracy Chapman joins Luke Combs on stage for his rendition of her 1988 hit song "Fast Car"

  Luke Combs has gone #1 with his version of Tracy Chapman’s hit song “Fast Car.” He was set to perform at last night’s ceremony but adding Tracy Chapman herself was a surprise to most. The performance was indeed iconic.

• Killer Mike is arrested for allegedly attacking a security guard

  Killer Mike had, what started as a great night at the Grammys, winning 3 awards in the pre show telecast. But his celebration was a little short lived as he was later seen being removed from the Crypto.com arena in handcuffs. At first, we had no idea if he’d been arrested or what he’d done to be removed but we later found out he’d been in a confrontation with a security guard.

  Killer Mike was escorted out of the 2024 Grammys in handcuffs on Sunday, hours after winning three awards in the pre-show telecast.

• SZA fan girls over Taylor Swift

  SZA was accepting her award for RnB Song for “Snooze.” During her speech, which she came running out late for because she was changing, she thanked a lot of people. She then took the moment to fan girl Taylor Swift.

• Joni Mitchell gets a standing ovation for performing at the Grammys for the first time

  Joni Mitchell has been nominated 18 times and won 9 awards but has never actually performed. Brandi Carlile introduced Joni on stage by saying “Joni is one of the most influential and emotionally generous creators in human history.” She then went on to win Best Folk Album. 

• Celine Dion comes on stage to announce Album of the Year

  In what was probably the most emotional moment of the night, Celine Dion came on stage to announce Album of the Year. Celine has been off the grid due to a battle with stiff-person’s syndrome, a neurological disease.  She has canceled her performances and has remained out of sight until now. 

• Miley Cyrus lets us know, she's not wearing underwear

  Miley Cyrus believe it or not won her first Grammy last night. She’d end up with two overall for Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year. In her speech, she let us know she wasn’t wearing underwear.
