Here’s the Recipe for the Infamous Salad Dressing that Ultimately Ended Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis’ Relationship
The former nanny for Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde is spilling all their dirt in a new interview with the Daily Mail and lemme tell you there’s a LOT of tea to spill. The woman who’s only referred to as “the nanny” made a ton of revelations. Let’s break the story down. Jason and Olivia started dating in 2011 and were engaged and lived together with their two kids. They broke up in 2020 but the circumstances are debated as Olivia ended up dating Harry Styles very shortly after. The nanny says Olivia and Harry were having an affair after they’d met on the set of their movie Don’t Worry Darling. She says that Jason became aware of the affair by reading messages on an Apple watch Wilde had left behind. Jason allegedly became very distraught and started drinking heavily alone at home telling the nanny “she’s f**king someone else.” The nanny described an incident where Jason became infuriated after seeing Wilde prepare a salad for Styles with her ‘special dressing’ in the family kitchen, leaving him ranting furiously at her and filming the encounter, before he tried to prevent her leaving by lying under the car. Both Olivia and Jason are denying the nanny’s claims, and released a statement saying ‘As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly. ‘We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.’
Now ever since this story broke, people have been asking about this salad dressing recipe. Thankfully for us, Olivia posted the recipe on her Instagram story last night. Sharing a photo from Nora Ephron’s book “Heartburn,” the recipe read, “Mix 2 tablespoons Grey Poupon with 2 tablespoons good red wine vinegar.
“Then, whisk constantly with a fork, slowly add 6 tablespoons olive oil, until the vinaigrette is thick and creamy; this makes a very strong vinaigrette that’s perfect for salad greens like arugula and watercress and endive.”
