Adidas has ended its partnership with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, over his recent controversial comments that included anti-semitism. In a statement, a rep for Adidas said “Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other type of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions were unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.” Adidas says they conducted a thorough review and it will not halt production of its line of Yeezy products and stop payments to Ye and his companies. They were expected to make $246 million from Yeezy products.
Adidas is the latest company to cut ties with Ye. The Creative Arts Agency, Balenciaga and Vogue have all disassociated themselves with Ye in the past week.

Celebrities React To Kanye West's Anti-Semitic Tweets
Members of the entertainment and media industry have called out Kanye West’s series of anti-semitic statements over the weekend. As we earlier reported, the rapper has been locked out of both Instagram and Twitter. His tweet in full read: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 [sic] On JEWISH PEOPLE. The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
The social media platform removed the tweet shortly after West, 45, published it. It noted that the tweet violated its rules and guidelines. Currently, in the tweet’s place, a Twitter message reads: “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.” The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said that Ye’s tweet was anti-semitic. The wrote, “The behavior exhibited this week by @kanyewest is deeply troubling, dangerous, and antisemitic, period,” the statement read. “There is no excuse for his propagating of white supremacist slogans and classic #antisemitism about Jewish power, especially with the platform he has.”
In another tweet, they added, “Power. Disloyalty. Greed. Deicide. Blood. Denial. Anti-Zionism. All of these are antisemitic tropes that we break down in our #AntisemitismUncovered Guide at https://antisemitism.adl.org. Many of these myths have influenced @KanyeWest’s comments recently, and it’s dangerous.”
The Donda rapper’s Instagram account was restricted after he posted a series of text exchanges allegedly between him and Diddy. Users called out the rapper for using anti-Semitic language (he insinusated that Diddy was controlled by Jewish people). The post has since been deleted. Before making the anti-Semitic remark, West tweeted on Friday calling out Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, “How you gone kick me off Instagram,” in response to his account being restricted.
This isn’t the first time Ye has been kicked off of social media platforms. Back in March, the Yeezy founder had his Instagram account suspended for 24 hours due to posting various posts targeting his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and The Daily Show‘s Trevor Noah.
Now, celebrities have taken to Twitter to share their feelings on Kanye’s words:
